I'm getting sick of these articles.
It's like these so called journalists have nothing better to do, so they decide to whip up cheap and easy articles.
They all follow the same formula. Find recently released game + say nothing but bad things about like it's an utter piece of crap = PROFIT.

Yeah, my facts are straight. I lived in Europe for 6 years. In fact, my parents still live there and tell me about how things are going.
Your a fool to think that the european nations have more expendable income than the americans. Maybe two or three countries, maybe, but their population is a fraction of how many people live in the North American, or even the US.
Not just that, a country with more disposable income than other countries.
LOL, they are demo shots, they record the action, replay it, take good screenshots.
They also remove the HUD on purpose so you can see the scene better.

I think I know where he is getting the low FPS thing from.
When you do the spin, the game pauses for a micro-second to reinforce to the player the power of the impact. Either that, or they didn't fully finalize how the enemies are going to react to those types of hits.
It's definitely not slow down, because if you look at anything else moving, you can clearly see them moving fluidly.
I'm not trying to sound like a fanboy or start a console war discussion but, how can anybody say this game doesn't look impressive graphics-wise?
It just boggles my mind. Especially the comment of how it looks like a HD PS2 game. That's like saying Gears looks like a X-Box HD game, which clearly it's not.
The level of detail and scale of the levels and creatures is astounding, and the fact that the demo is a confirmed outdated build has me wondering how much more they have pushed ...
I'm liking the new outfits and ultras, especially Cammy's and Zangeif's.

They'll use this incident as a reason not to develop for the PC, say there is no market in it and blame everybody else except themselves.
They brought this on themselves, but their egos will not allow them to see it.

I am in the complete dark about this. I don't own the game, so I cannot test it myself, which is why I asked for somebody to check it.
I want to know if those claims are valid as they say they are.

note these are in kiloBytes per second not bits. When i did the math, assumign i did it right someone may want to double check one hour of hosting will use up approx 200MBs of your upload bandwidth, about the same for your download. So... If you play 2-3 hours a day for a week thats already quite a few gig...

Sega had an online portal, you could download DLC onto your memory cards, you could play online. Sound familiar?
Sega really was the leader.
Remember Quake 3 for the DC? You could play with PC owners. Of course they had to download a special map pack, but it was free. What other game since then allowed cross-platform play like that?

Well technically, using that logic, Dreamcast was the leader. Sega implemented proper online play out of the box with that system.
The PS3 version still looks highly playable, it's just not as smooth as the 360 version. So I don't understand where this unplayable nonsense is coming from.
The amusing part of all this is that if somebody went up to you 10 years ago and said you will end up paying $50 a year just so you could play online with the 360, you'd probably say "Their crazy! They'd shoot themselves in the foot if they did that." "Who would buy into that?", and yet it's accepted nowadays. Same thing with digital distribution and iTunes. People thought it would never take off, and yet they have billion dollar revenues.
This will be no diff...
I'm sure this is Activision's doing. Remember a few months back when Kotick said that PC game prices should be the same as consoles game prices? Yeah......
And with no mod support, they can charge for DLC as they so please. Or so they think. Give it a few months and people will mod the hell out of it.
Can't wait to play as the Alien in multiplayer.
By far my favorite class.
Although I do like all 3 in single player mode.
You make it sound like every game on a console is this good.
A PC can do all this stuff, and your extremely naive if you think it can't.
The problem here is that Santa Monica studios has an extremely valuable IP, and much like the Zelda games from Nintendo, Sony will delay it and give them tremendous resources to get it done right. This is a luxury that most devs do not have. And seeing how they are considered a first party studio, Sony wouldn't want them releasing a lacklu...
